Hey guys,

Just as a quick introduction on what i'm trying to accomplish. A non-profit group i'm affiliated with is involved with a project in Rwanda. I was looking at a sort of hybrid solution since grid power is not available in this area. Two options i was looking at was have two sources(gen and solar) tied in to a distribution panel. But i think with the motor loads on the system this might not be a practical solution. Second option was isolate the loads with less critical loads on solar power(individual systems for each structure) and critical loads such as kitchen appliances on generator. I am an electrical engineer but i have no background in solar power and what system to pick(PV panels, inverters, batteries etc.). well Thought i'd post a line to see if someone has any pointers....

Hey Josh,

Send us a note to admin@pvpower.com and we can chat further via email. We'll look into some options in the meantime. Sounds like an interesting project.

Tim
